You think it’s still good. It is still vacuumed sealed in original packaging

Was thinking about making sausage with it?

Yeah, all good assuming it was good when you froze it.

As long as it has stayed well frozen it should be fine. It's a quality issue and not a safety issue anyway, even if it doesn't come out as good as fresh it is still safe.

I’ve got a couple that are a year old that I got on sale. I think they’ll be fine.

Enjoy your impending diarrhea.

It is fine. What time do we eat and do I need to bring BBQ sauce? Diet Dr. Peppers? Slaw? Buns? Kettle Chips?

I was in the same situation this past Christmas. Cooked a pork shoulder that was frozen for 2 years. It came out good and no casualties reported. If it passes a smell test then you are good to go.

Man... We were POOR growing up. If it had been in the freezer with no power outages and didn't look grossly freezer burnt we ate it.
And it was all home packed and may or may not have ever had a date on it, so who really knew how long it had been in there.

Do with it what you want. It will be fine if it’s been frozen since you bought it. What do you think the grocery stores do with all the left over turkeys after Thanksgiving? They don’t throw them out. Have you ever seen an expiration date on a frozen Turkey?
