quick search and the very first recipe was 62 hours total cook time. Here's the part where you explain how that's faster than the 10 hours it takes me.
I’ve never done a brisket.
I did a Chuck steak for 48 hours once and then seared it on my big green egg. It was phenomenal. Plus I made a wine reduction sauce with the juices left in the bag that was great.
No one said it’s faster. And I would never do a brisket.
But for tougher cuts of meat or a bunch of steaks you want done all at once it’s a great tool.
I don’t get the hate.

New from cave men cooking?
Have at it guys with your new methods of cooking meat.
I’ve been experimenting with cooking steak using a steam iron
There’s definitely a difference if you use steam or not
I’ve found using steam at the beginning
And then searing with the iron on high heat
Works best.
I’ve been putting aluminum foil under a 100% cotton cloth on the ironing board
Works best.

The only thing better than watching this thread hit seven pages with ScrapperKeeper getting his OP continually downvoted is watching you continue with your takes and get the same treatment.
Keep it coming! This thread will get me through another day

No idea. I can't read through 7 pages. I'm just here for the lulz, and you seem like the target for whatever reason. This thread is completely irrational, and I love it

Especially when I know that the product I can turn out in less time will probably be better. But to each his own.

I saw him post it to his Instagram and I wondered who this “friend” was.

Well I've never tasted a sous vide brisket which is why I said "probably".
