Juicer recommendations needed: centrifugal or slow masticating

Never owned one but I want to start making juices for the family. Brand? Type?

10 years ago, when juicing was a thing, all of the reviews I read stated that masticating juicers were superior. so that's what i bought. It works and I compost the pulp.

Wait, I feel like I remember your juicer thread where you were warned by all of us that it is a waste of money

Buy a centrifugal.

Whatever type you buy, after a short while the novelty is going to wear off and you're going to stop using it.

The slow masticating ones are way more expensive. Best not to throw too much money down the drain.

It ended up in the closet with the air fryer, Ronco oven, George Foreman, cotton candy machine, quesedilla maker and cappuccino machine and the stands mixer attachments.

They are the modern equivalent of the old Fondue Pots.

Relegated to obscurity after a while.
