Yeah but I cut the "sausage" into like 3rds.

There's a Kiolbassa brand that had a beef jalapeno cheese version at Sam's for a while, that was my go-to. No nitrites and such. They've been unavailable for a while though, I tried some random crap from Trader Joe's that doesn't compare.

I have seen this brand at Publix, Wal-Mart, and Kroger family of stores, if I recall correctly. Not sure if Wal-Mart has the Jalapeño Cheddar ones though?

How’d you know?

I’m bookmarking this thread to bring back when y’all start talking about “hot dog” sausage and how terrible they are.

Woof. You seem really angry about food.

I see nothing wrong with Johnsonville but I’ve also seen posters, multiple times, bash those brands of sausage as “hot dogs”. So I’m just having fun and calling out hypocrisy.

This is by far the most eye opening post ever. I officially apologize.

The point of the thread, as I see it, is that these are superior to a regular hot dog. Nobody is saying these are superior to other sausages, just better than packaged hot dogs.

The Kroger and Publix by me don't have the cheese one. Publix has 6 kinds but apparently they don't want me to enjoy a quick lunch on work days.

Correct. Hit the nail on the head.
Next time I have a gathering where hotdogs are on the menu, I will throw some of these Johnsonville suckers on there.

You know there are multiple people who post on these boards right? Could it be possible that the people who shite on Johnsonville in other threads aren't in here praising it in this thread?

Pretty amazing that simple posts like this on a food board can turn into the bullshite that it does. I’ll never understand people arguing about food.

I like all of Johnsonville's products. The Italian Sausage is surprisingly good.

I made a green chili with Johnsonville hot sausage. I have tried other brands and flavors and nothing beats it.
