Luke is a good restaurant with great oysters. I don't know where they get them from, but they seem to taste so much better than other places. If you go between 3 and 6, you can get a dozen for $6. I usually eat 3 dozen by myself when I go.

No doubt. Always cold/salty/fresh. Always. And they have a good variety of oysters from around the country, which isn't common in LA.

How dare he! Doesn't he know that Louisiana Oysters are the best? No where else in the world has oysters as good as Louisiana! It's a travesty! Besides, those other ones are harvested by child slave labor and injected with herpes. How is a man supposed to make a living for his family competing against that? GET THE PIZZA.

or the Tagliatelle.

Just stay away from the squid ink pasta. I decided to try it after hearing good things about it and feeling adventurous. If you like black noodles with butter, then it'll be right up your alley...was definitely not that great IMO.

I find their pizzas very dry and very bready. Some of the toppings are overly salted as well.

saderade and I do not like the pizzas, but VOR will insult you if you talk poorly about a Besh restaurant, even the bad ones, like Domenica and Luke

Pay no mind to the Bible troll - it is a great restaurant, and the pizzas are unreal.

Have only had the pizza via room service after the BCSNCG, and it was below average.

Hell, on that night, Besh could have prepared the food in our room and it would have tasted bad. Damn, I was foul.

That's one of the ones where I've seen less than stellar reviews

Everyone has told me steak and service are great, everything else, meh

i dont see how anyone calls those 2 average at best. Do you even know what "average at best" means?

They aren't Restaurant August, but they aren't supposed to be.

they are pretty much casual places to get a good meal.

I know what it means. American Sector is casual and I love it. My experiences at both Luke and Domencia were not good at all. The meal sucked.
