I like to make a hash with it. Browned sausage, diced potatoes, onions, peppers, and garlic topped off with a fried egg and some Garlic Tabasco

my grandmother does a great dip with jimmy dean sauage, rotel tomatoes, and some type of block cheese. she might brown the sausage first then dump in a crock pot, not sure the process but it is amazing stuff

Usually my go to. I always took this when we had a potluck at work. One pound of normal and one pound of spicy. Always shred the cheese fresh too. The bagged shredded stuff will do, but fresh Colby Jack is so much better than using pre shredded cheddar. If you want them a little fluffier, use just enough buttermilk to get the cup of bisquick wet, like 1/3 to 1/2 of a cup, and then mix in the sausage and cheese. I also like to throw the sausage and cheese in the stand mixer with a paddle attachment and let it mix for 30 seconds or so before adding the bisquick or batter.

Next time you fire up the smoker throw the whole roll on there.

That sounds like a great idea. What temp do you cook it to?
