alright so does anyone know if they are actually bringing someone back? I feel like if they are they definitely waited way to long to do it. are they really just gonna let someone miss all these weeks of competition just to be let back in?

OMG. Home run on that segment Jay, and that's with Eddie trying to keep you away from the grill! How can this not be down to him and Eddie, and Eddie fumbled on air.

I love Jay and defintely think it comes down to him and Eddie. But when it comes down to it, Eddie is the winner in my book. The guy just has charisma

I am watching a recording. Alex has to be gone, right ?
ETA : Damn, Alex must have pics of Bobby & Giada.

what are you talking about? Alex got eliminated

I was holding my breath for Jay after the pigs and ants segment. Tough challenge, but at least use andouille. Scratch the ants. Maybe mini shrimp pizzas or something to stick with the LA view. Home run on the second segment, but Eddie has the edge right now, to me. He's good.

Eddie fell off some the last few weeks but hit a home run tonight. Like most of the season, Eddie and Jay are the obvious top dogs. They are by far the most comfortable on camera and are likable. No one else has really been remotely close in that aspect.

Damn, I had to go back and rewatch. When Giada said "Arnold, we've really enjoyed getting to know you . . ." I must have tuned the rest out. Must be the Knob Creek.

but at least use andouille.
Jay said there were no southern food elements in the fridge.

I thought it was a shitty way to let Alex go. They tried too hard for a twist there. Seemed obvious Alex was leaving.

Agreed. He's on the verge of the final 3 and they pull that kind of nonsense. Just tell Alex he is not making it, don't give him a final ray of hope before crushing his dream.

I think it's definitely down to Jay and Eddie. IMO they're going to give the nod to Eddie because he's black.

I'd much rather see Jay or Eddie but I'm thinking the nod goes to Arnold because he is gay.
Food Network doesn't have any gay guys............that I can think of. Seems like every network needs the token gay.

I hate when shows like that add unnecessary suspense like that. Come on....
Thought Jay did great once again.
I think Food Network would feel completely okay with either Jay or Eddie. Obviously I am hoping Jay comes through great in the finale.
Geaux Jay!

We're talking about a conservative network that 60% of their audience is stay at home conservative mothers. If he was a typical gay, maybe. But he's a drag queen. No way they're going to be that progressive. I mean, this on food network?

I was thinking he'd used andouille before so they might have that on hand and I assumed he didn't make the boudin for the stuffed quail, but maybe he did.
Regardless, he had a challenging task. Wonder what the others would have done with that? Alex probably would have made some mini sandwiches of some sort.
Mini poboys would have been better than pigs, but poboys have been done already. So have sliders, I believe. Could have taken those biscuits and made faux beignets by frying them.

I thought this was Jay's poorest performance of the series and luckily he pulled through on the basis of his great southern everyman style presentation.
Why he ever thought pigs in a blanket and ants on celery was Food Network appropriate I'll never know.
Giada's idea of an afterschool snack would be pâté on toast points and Bobby would do a Poblano stuffed with Pulled Pork and Goat Cheese topped with Brown Beer Guacamole.
Yes kids eat Pigs in Blanket, and the combination with celery and PB&Raisins was actually a pretty solid after school kid snack But Food Network Kids never eat that kind of kid stuff.
He needs to really pull his act together and stick with his Creole and Cajun or seafood tailgate recipes the rest of the way through.
Still a Jay fan, just worried about that poor menu decision at this point in the contest.

Regardless of who wins out of Jay and Eddie, both will have future shows on the Food Network.
