I bought a 25 lb sack of jasmine rice on my expedition to get groceries a few days ago.
So now I want your favorite rice recipes,
I routinely make Thai style fried rice and cook jasmine instead of plain ol long grain, but would love to hear what you do with beaucoup rice. Anyone used jasmine for a jambalaya?

I use it in my jambalaya. I had to amend the recipe, as it only requires 1.5/1 liquid to rice ratio. I guess traditionalists would balk, but I like it.
It’s really the only rice I buy anymore. I use it for any rice application.

Jasmine rice is pretty much all we eat now.
I still cook it 2:1 with a drop of vegi oil and it comes out perfect.

My favorite rice. I’ll use it for anything. As said above, you will always need to adjust the liquid volume.

That’s all we use.

Every now and then we do the popcorn flavored rice which is excellent as well.

Pretty much the same for me. Jasmine is what I use for about 90% of things. Unless I'm using basmati, I'm using jasmine. I can't ever go back to plain ol' white rice.

I use this rice cooker which has a steam rack on top. I throw frozen veggies on the rack when I make rice for a quick and easy healthy meal.

If its Thai jasmine feed it to some chickens
If it’s US jasmine proceed accordingly
Yes the US grows good jasmine rice and good basmati
