Had to go meet my boy Curds in LaPlace and figured I head over there since I was close anyway.

We talk about this place and it's great but I don't recall too many pics of what you got, so, this is what I got.

Going to make some black eyes peas
Smoked pork andouille
Smoked pork hamhocks - use the other one for white beans

Smoked bacon for breakfast

Hogs head cheese, hot

Should have gone to Bailey's about 50 yards away. Much better!

I’ve had both, both are very good IMO. I like the andouille better here.

I like Jacob's Andouille as good as Bailey's. Both are excellent.

Where are both of these places? Do they ship? Do they have websites?

WJ Smokehouse

Great smoked and fresh goods; and lunch/Sunday brunch

Try one of their Christmas Tree shaped hog head cheeses.

Jacob’s is my favorite of the three, slightly over Baily’s.

I was out that way on Saturday. Loaded up like a kid in a candy store.

I bought andouille, smoked sausage, and hog head cheese at Don’s in Reserve, Wayne Jacob’s and Bailey’s in LaPlace. Didn’t make it to Jacob’s though.

I agree Otis and why I went there but either one is great and better than anything in the grocery stores. Have not gotten a stick ina while and look forward to getting some beans going.

I like Bailey's better myself. Has anybody tried Wayne Jacobs since they changed hands?

How long do y’all think the andouille would last in the freezer. If I’m using it for gumbo
