Is this owned by black people? Has it always been black owned? Or, have they just decided to cater to what became their core business?

The rest of the restaurants listed are largely located in NBR or mid-city

So does this mean I get to eat, complain, pay a fraction of the price and tip 5%?

Eat black all week

They have a TV show about this. Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Pimanyoli's not on the list, but we eat there a lot. Boil & Roux is terrible, black people are usually more demanding over the quality of their food, I'm surprised it's still in business.

Are these more people he extorted from like earlier this year or is he just slapping their names on this without them actually doing anything?

They may want to take a look at the menus from the restaurants they are "partnered" with.

Phat boyz makes a good pizza, empire could possibly have the best wings in town, turkey win man does a tasty wing, sauce and bones have not tried but have heard bad things.

the list of restaurants is thin at best and to be honest I bet its the fault of the promoters. Gravy doesn't like to do real leg work to get an event going. I can name several great black owned spots not on the list and I am quite sure if approached they would have gotten on board. theres nothing to this, no specail menus or deals etc. Its just heres a list of black owned spots, go eat their food.
