There's always things like the " Twinkie Diet" that throw a wrench in the "sugar is the devil" argument.

Type 2 diabetes is running rampart across the country and obviously high fructose corn syrup is the primary reason for it.
I think shitty parenting, ignorance, lack of intelligence, and an entitled populace are the main reasons for it.

Man I need to give this up again. I had stopped for 10 years and got back into it with good craft beers and it is making me a tad overweight.
Just cut out your breakfast and replace it with beer. No excess caloric intake, you get to enjoy a delicious coffee stout every morning and you wont gain any weight. Problem solved! I will never give up beer. I would rather do another set of heavy squats every single day if I have to balance my beer consumption. It is the nectar from nature's sweet tit.

No, it did not. Junk food is still junk. I would have loved to see his muscle loss and blood lipid panel change during that time. Just because he lost 27 lbs doesn't mean a thing. Starvation can have you lose 27 lbs, that doesn't mean it is healthy.

I can get behind this. All I see today is puffy, fat, chubsters running around.

How about a summary instead of a link to a 39 page article.
