I'm not going to bother reading most of this thread. All I will say is that a little bit of mayonaise (on the same side of the sandwich as the cheese) is an essential part of a sandwich. It adds moisture and takes on the flavor of the rest of the sandwich. Gobs of mayonaise is gross. That's why I don't use gobs. This is particularly true of the roast beef sandwich.

Pretty much any dip besides salsa and queso is mayo based. And any salad dressing that's creamy is mayo based.. Ranch, Caesar, thousand island.
It's used in buttercream frosting and occasionally cakes.

Sour cream is ok. Dips made with sour cream are ok, but no to mayo. I just avoid creamy dips unless I make them.
I had a really horrific experience when I was growing up eating some chicken salad that went bad. When I even think about it, I can think about the throw up. It was due to faulty mayo, and thus I don't eat mayo any more.
I am sure it has snuck by me but in general I avoid it.
The semen thing is just a joke, I dislike it b.c of the throw up thing. It does look like semen though.
And finally, I eat pretty much everything but mayo and american cheese. I have eaten bugs, live fish and chicken feet. I am not a picky eater, other than mayo.

The sushi place by our house, its about 75% do. I tend to read the ingredients, but frankly I think rolls usually suck. Sashimi is where its at.

Mayo by itself is disgusting. I cant even stand the smell of it. If i get some on my finger, i wash it off instead of just eating it like i would ketchup. That being said, i have to use it on sandwiches or when i eat a can of tuna.
