Is Sriracha not as good as it used to be?

I know Huy Fong had to change pepper suppliers a few years back.
I still use Sriracha, but it seems different.
Is it just my imagination, or is Sriracha not as good as it used to be?

There are so many similar products now that it’s no longer the great phenomenon it was considered to be when it first started becoming popular

Sugar is the #2 ingredient in Sriracha, checked it out today. Switched to Sambol Oelek or the Huy Fong Chili Garlic sauce a while back, better stuff to me.

As someone who has eaten it for 25+ years, it tastes different.
I've used it less and less, started using pepper paste or chili oil more (dad makes it from fresh peppers in the garden)

On the subject of sriracha, the salsa is really good.
