Horrible service, order is wrong half the time, feel like poop after eating but..... lawd these biscuits. I don’t think to go there too often but when i do (and they don’t give me 3 tenders when i ordered 3 piece dark) i always regret not getting the family pack for myself.

Chicken, fries, biscuit, red beans, all top of the charts but i do miss the old fluffy biscuits.

Chik fil a is only so good because of the experience. Food is good not great

Canes is good but cmon it’s not Popeyes chicken.

KFC, churches, bojangles can gtfo.

Burger chain drive thrus don’t compare

Nothing better than eating Popeyes at a parade or outside too.

Popeyes chicken and fries have definitely seen better days. However, their red beans and rice and the biscuits are still top notch. There's also a CFA close by and I'm not above getting some of their nuggets to mix in with some Popeyes red beans and rice.

If doc lets me have a cheat day now and then, I'm making the most of that beotch. I'll tell him, "relax, they were grilled nuggets."

Yes, when they have spicy chicken. How do you run out of spicy chicken at 11:05 AM when you open up at 11:00 AM. This the question I find myself yelling half the time I go to Popeyes for lunch

The biscuits and onion rings are a shadow of their former selves, the red beans and chicken are still good. Since I'm on keto I have asked for grilled anything, the reply was 'we ain't got nuttin' grilled'

Do they have grilled anything at other locations?

Blackened tenders baw

No flour or batter, fried in tallow. Dip in ranch. Keto approved. Could add green beans depending on your carb limit

El Rey used to be one of my favorites for drive thru but I don't live close to any now.

Culver's is probably my favorite, although the closest is about 20 minutes away (and not on a commute path) so I don't go often.

The Popeyes that we go to the most often has very good service and usually quick. It's nothing like the standard that I was used to in Louisiana and Houston.

That sounds worth the two hour drive from NO. I would hate the two hour drive back home though.

I actually would choose the mash potatoes and gravy over the red beans and rice, If I didnt always get both. The gravy is excellent. I use extra skin as a spoon instead of the spork they provide.

This is the most inaccurate statement I have ever seen posted on Tigerdroppings.

I’m headed to Pinhook in the morning for a meeting and may just stop by and give it a once over.
