No problem.

It's certainly one of my top favorite restaurants in N.O.

Delmonico or Dickie Brennan's for steak.

Mr. B's Bistro for creole.

Drago's (Metairie) if he wants to sample char-grilled oysters and lobster.

Pascal Manale's for BBQ Shrimp.

Just some ideas. I'm not sure how "fancy" of a place you want to take him to ... ranging from Mother's (although I don't particularly care for it) to Galatoire's, Emeril's, Palace Cafe, Commander's Palce, August, G W Finn's, etc.

Hope this helps ...

Please - please do not eat bbq shrimp at Pascal Manale's - very average and overpriced.

Mr. B's blows it out of the water for bbq shrimp - not to mention that it's a nicer place, no matter what you eat.

Being in NOLA would make it more NOLA.
