Their burger patties suck. Their buns suck. Their fries are brown and limp, not golden brown and crispy. But hey, they give you a whole crapload of them! Haven't been there in years but back then the mustard only came in packets.

5 guys is awesome and is very fairly priced for their quality, taste, and consistency. Shake shack is terrible flavorless trash. If you want cheap your options are basically McDonald’s, Wendy’s, etc.

Wife lady brought some home for lunch today.
Burger was flavorful & the large fries were still crispy and big enough to split between the five of us.
I get a lil' bacon cheese burger all the way because I'm a fat arse but not a glutton.
I've had a bad 5guys burger but, never from the location near my home. They are consistently one of the better fast food/ fast casual burger options.

No 5 guys for me in about 10 years... can’t stand their greasy fries, burger is as good as Wendy’s

It is, it's also the greasiest hamburger I've eaten, been there 3 times and all 3 were consistently greasy enough to make me want to never go back, been about 5 years since I've had a 5 guys burger and have no intentions of ever going back.

Too expensive for fast foot and not good enough for quality. I’d honestly rather a #1 from any of the regular chains and be on my way.
Smash burger is way better and dont shake shack is on another lane even above that’s. Five Guys is the worst of all worlds IMO
They don’t even salt their meat. You can even read an interview with the owner all proud that they don’t put any seasoning in their meat. Bland boring Midwestern bullshite.

I love Five Guys. It’s a good burger done right. And praise baby Jesus that they don’t use an egg bun, or a brioche bun, or a pretzel bun. They use a real hamburger bun. It’s not the best burger ever, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it....except the price. Yes, they are pricey. But most other similar burger places are as well.

Yup. I feel the same about Canes. The hype surrounding it is downright stupid. Bland as frick chicken, but "HEY, that woosy, ketchup and mayo sauce is awesome! How can you not like it??"
