I think Walk Ons has good food for a sports bar type place.

I might be in the minority here, but Chilis has some decent things on the menu.

I gave up on Chili’s (and BWW actually) years ago, so I’ll take your word for it

I agree. It’s a good spot in the burbs for a quiet Friday night family dinner. My kids love it and nothing wrong with their chips and queso and an old timer.

I’ll 2nd that. The skillet queso, margarita chicken, hell, I’m not afraid of their fajitas and baby back ribs.

It has declined since the 80’s and varies greatly from one location to the next, but it’s far from the worst restaurant in the country.

I was going to say, "Not by a long shot" but others beat me to it.

Agreed. We have a couple little podunk places nearby with wings for 35 cents that are 1/3 the cost of BWW and 10 times better.

I was traveling for work and spent several weeks in a town supposedly that had a good local food scene.

Took recommendations for a week. All underwhelming. So on the Saturday I went to chili’s for some queso and acceptable chain bar food.

Sometimes you just don’t want to experiment and you settle for good enough and “not turn in a too expensive for disappointing food” meal receipt.

No, it is acceptable for a quick lunch at an interstate exit but my expectation from any national chain is pretty low.

Metairie location has a killer tap list.

It is what it is. Don’t expect more than ok wings and ok beer (most locations) and it’ll be all right.

The clientele is second worst only to Applebee’s though.

Wings are pretty solid. Too bad they got rid of the Tuesday traditional bone-in wing deals.

the ones by me still do it

had them yesterday

eta: Geismar location

I typically only like to go on tuesdays, because otherwise, wing prices have gotten out of hand
