Slow cooker is the generic product description. Crock Pot is a brand name.

A Crock Pot is a slow cooker, but a slow cooker is not necessarily a Crock Pot.

I had this wonder many years ago. Growing up, there was a crock pot. Never heard of a slow cooker. The term did not exist in my world growing up. Understandable for someone to ask the question.
