Anybody been yet? I can see the search lights all over town. They must be proud. Any reviews?

Is that what they're there for? Where's this place at?

are they even open? seems like they've been working on the place for years. been having "now hiring" sign for months.
ETA: it's in a building that used to be a Chinese restaurant next to Tire Engineers.
ETA:ETA: Looks like grand opening was Monday 11/13.
Pics look good.

Just ate lunch there. Corn&crab bisque was good as was the BBQ shrimp poboy. Beer could have been colder but now we are splitting hairs. Someone ordered a burger that was pretty damn big & juicy. Dinner options looked a tad overpriced but I will be back.

I hope they stay open longer than it took to remodel. I can't tell if they have any prior restaurant experience based on the names I found associated with it. Building needed major exterior renovations. Slapping new paint on that ugly box isn't helping the curb appeal.

The pictures online of the food looked really good, but I can't bring myself to eat there yet. That building had some pretty serious pest problems if I remember correctly

Gumbo has a film on it and all the microgreens are wilted. Not the prettiest pictures. Pork chop looks good.

I’ll go with you if you’re buying.

They have a lot to overcome being in the same building that was Die-Nasty. Menu looks about the same as Sammy's, On the Half Shell, Dempsey's, etc.

Not that shrimp are required with a steak, but I can't bring myself to understand why anyone would pay $9 for 6 shrimp that you have to peel to go on as a "topper."

Passed this place the other day and the parking lot was packed. Of course that's usually the case with a new place.

This place took forever to open and the building isn't inviting at that location but the pictures do look good. I hope they stay open a while to have another option. Surprised Fratellis is still open because I never see anyone there. Just seems like one bad restaraunt idea after another. And a shitty name.

Took some clients for lunch this week. Bambi bites and pesto cauliflower apps were delicious, although very tiny portions.
I had a cup of chicken/sausage gumbo and it was really good. It's a thicker gumbo which I prefer.
For my entree I had the grilled pork chop with creamed spinach and it was a winner. Everyone else was happy with their food as well.
I'll be back to bring clients there for sure, but they need to up the portion sizes on the apps. The Bambi bites were very good, but basically an amuse bouche

Dynasty was the go-to place when it opened. Really set the tone for the downtown area in the late 90's early 2000's.

well, this place was a disappointment.
Blackened catfish was okay but,
Mushy frozen crab cakes with almost zero detectable crab meat.
Tomatoey gumbo
bland flavorless etouffee
Service was horrible
only half of the tables in the front dining area were occupied yet, still took 15 minutes to seat a table of 4 because the 2 young women working up front were busy with their own conversation and barely even acknowledged us.
Server brought gumbo with no spoon, had to ask twice before actually getting one.
Drinks with no straws, again had to ask for them.
They seem to be going for some type of hybrid grill/sports bar kind of place. Huge bar with 8 or so tvs takes up most of the front dining area.yet, not a single bar stool was occupied.
Overheard a guy i am assuming was the owner describing to friends how nasty the last owners left the place. Saying that's why it took so long to open.

Due to an underground sewer line breaking we are temporarily closed for repair. They estimate the repair time to be finished by June 27th. Our Togo and waitr orders will continue on Tuesday June 12 from 11-2 and 5-8 everyday until we open up on the 27th. While we are having these issues we are deciding to make some changes to the restaurant and menu also. Please help to let everyone know the issues and plans.
Thank y'all and sorry for any inconveniences.
