It’s definitely not like the old one in Ft Walton in the 80’s and 90’s for entertainment, but it has a large menu that everybody can eat off of and drinks for the adults.

Lulu’s is also a great place for kids, and plane rides out the back. It’s on the bay.

Has anybody ever been to The Village Door in Destin for a bar scene? Was thinking the adults could get away one night and go there? If not there, any recommendations?

Fudpuckers is great for kids, but otherwise I wouldn’t go there.

Lulu’s on the beach was pretty good and very kid friendly. I actually think the kids can get wet with some of the stuff they have for them. Food was good as well

We ate there a couple of weeks ago as well, it was great. I had an incredible salmon filet, almost raw, and I know this sounds strange...but the best vegetable medley I've ever had by far. I wanted to lick the plate. Place is cool AF.

Boshamps and Harbor Docks only serve local seafood. Hands down the best seafood. Boshamps is so nice during the day. You will have a wait at night. It was not the restaurant that made LSU fans mad a few years ago. That was Harry T's. Someone mentioned that.
The Back Porch, Crab Trap and Pompano Joe's are all on the beach. It is pretty, but your seafood will be off the same truck that visits your hometown. Only get their local catch specials. It will not compare to Harbor Docks or Boshamps though.
We love going to the Bay and Stinky's that were both mentioned. It just depends on how far you want to drive.
Marina Café is our favorite fine dining in Destin. Bistro Bijoux is incredible in Sandestin. I hope the insight from a local will help:)
