Waffle House all the way for me.
Call me trashy and/or poor and I will agree with you to a certain extent, but damn that all star special is delicious.

Waffle House and it's not remotely close. Maybe the IHOPs in the NOLA area are just awful , but the food and service are both noticeably worse than any Waffle House I've been to.
I did enjoy a trip to a Houston IHOP, but I was like 10, so not sure how accurate that was

I'm assuming you went to tech? Huddle House in Ruston was so ghetto.
We always went to waffle house after the bars. It was packed. Had to go to huddle house once and it was garbage and trashy as all get out.

Pecan Waffle is a godsend.
IHOP is just Denny's.
Last time we went to IHOP (probably 5 years or so), we ordered water, waited another 15 minutes to order food, still no water, got our food, no water, ate our food, no water, paid for our food, no water. Turns out the person in charge of bringing your drinks is different from the person taking your order which is different from the person who brings the food. Pure garbage.
