LaRouge gardens, precursor to Pedigos. Don was cooking on a black skillet over a propane burner.

No, there was another Pedigo's over by Tom Drive after La Pedigo's closed. It was still open in 2009... not sure if it still is though. Godfathers is still open on Jones Creek. The pizza place at Cortana was Mama Brava, which I mentioned earlier.

I worked at The Catfish Hut as a dishwasher in 1983. If I remember right, everything was all you can eat. Whatever happened to Bobby Meador?

I think the old man died. I went to school with his son and have no clue whatever happened to him.

North Highland Road. Going north on Highland it was on the right. I think it was an old Taco Bell. I think all the landmarks, Whitehorse, Brass Rail etc. are also gone. Maybe someone else can be more specific.

It had another name in the mid 80's...I wish I could remember. We enjoyed many late night dinners...drunk from Murphys, Shanahans, Cotton Club, and the Bengel..good times!

I didn't have a car for most of my college life, so Round the Corner was always a good place for me.

I was at LSU in the early 80's...I just don't remember that as the name. But then, the alzimers may be getting worse.

Pedro's was the place we were talking about in the earlier part of the thread.

Made Taco Bell seem gourmet.

Yea, I know the location...It still looks like an old Taco Bell today, and I think it's something that sells seafood. I just don't remember that as the name in the 80's.
