I heard Tin Roof blonde ale has improved. I had it two years ago and was not impressed.
Done side by side tasting many times and almost everyone chooses Tin Roof over Nola when it comes to blonde.

I was one of the biggest fans of Nola Blonde but maybe I have just tired of its taste. I will say I have been drinking it out of cans recently so that could have had some effect.

I had the same thing happen to me. Kind of took a break from it but I still find myself with one in my hand at times.

I much rather live in NOLA than Abita.

I believe it's in the LaPlace area. Definitely can be found in Gonzales. I live in Gonzo and Leblanc's keeps it stocked.

Should be able to find it locally....
I know many bars carry it on tap.
Not a very big fan, tastes sort of like hairspray to me.

It's on tap everywhere - the bottles just typically don't extend past BR/Lafayette area.
I've had it on tap in NOLA, Slidell, and Mandeville.
I think it's a great new summer beer.

FYI I bought a six pack at Martin's Wine Cellar in Metairie yesterday. Remembered this thread after I bought it

Had few yesterday in the quarter.
Nola blonde IMO is little better.
I like em both.

You weren't the dude coming out of Matherne's with a couple cases of Canebrake yesterday, were you?

Let me know when I can walk in a store and buy their most popular beer in the largest market in the state.

I was shocked how popular Abita was in my recent trip to NY. I had at least 3 bartenders push it on me at different bars. The freakin Shake Shack had Abita root beer on draft. I thought that was pretty cool.

It was a joke but I read that canebreak is outselling everything else in La.
