Looks like I’ll be hitting it for lunch Saturday. Just looking to get some feedback from people who’ve tried it

If going for lunch, burger and chicken sandwich are both very good. Try one of the specials if it sounds good to you. Try the boudin balls and/or cracklins. I like the place and have never had a bad meal. Great bar program as well

Sandwiches & apps are well executed

I do not like most of the entrees. Big pieces of meat sitting in some rice or risotto or navy beans or whatever. Heavy & uninspiring

One of my fav’s Glock. Get the charcuterie board. Must item to get there. If it was dinner i’d Say lamb neck. Their burger is very solid.

agree 100%
the apps and small plates are killer but the entrees make you wish you’d ordered something else

Hot fried quail was great. Boudin balls and hogs head cheese were both underwhelming. Corn bread was good. I've heard the chicken liver moose is really good. To he honest, I was really looking forward to it and was a little disappointed. Maybe I just ordered the wrong stuff so I'll give it another chance.

I'll add that I went to Bourrée a couple days later and thoroughly enjoyed everything I had there. I highly recommend checking that out.

Hate to admit it because I wanted to love everything, but definitely agree with that. Our apps were awesome, we got a bunch of stuff for a large group, but most of the table was whelmed by the entrees. Would totally recommend the place though.

I actually enjoy most of the entrees but I have to be in the mood for that type of meal. And I can definitely understand people not really liking it.

I'll second this post. The charcuterie board was outstanding but the venison entree was underwhelming.

Went with some buddies a few years ago. The apps were all awesome. Agree with others about the entrees. One of my buddies ordered a goat dish that was either a special or on the menu.... it was extra goaty. Whoof!

I really enjoyed toups every time I went. Good cocktails, excellent apps/charcuterie. I think the entrees on the whole are good. The double cut pork chop being my favorite. They also have Debbie does doberge cakes for dessert. They're true to the name in that the star is a big piece of meat. Will go again. Have not been to toups south though their food looks great

My wife and I like it more than Toups South. We usually get the an appetizer, the meat board and cheese board. You can't go wrong that way.
