That's what I'm afraid of. I have a feeling it'll be overly packed. If it sucks I guess we'll just go somewhere downtown for drinks

I never felt it was overly packed the few times I went. The worst thing they ever did was hosting it in the PMAC in 2015. Way too small of a place for this.

It's a total waste of money...hardly any food and the serving are bit size....
Lots of people giving away business junk like cups and a few t shirts...
But I would not spend the money and go back again...luckly I was able to go on a company pass for free
Go eat at a nice restaurant instead the tickets aren't cheap...i think they are $50 each...

Be prepared to go through a DUI checkpoint on your way out.

This. That year at the PMAC was miserable. Too small a cenue, too many people, not enough vendors, and too small portion sizes. It was like being crowded into the sidewalks on bourbon during the construction on Mardi Gras.

There's no breweries on site, all the alcohol basically has to be purchased.

I've been twice. Once in the river center and once in the PMAC. I had a great time when it was in the river center. Plenty of space, got to try a lot of food, and at the end of the show, the Rougaroux rum booth gave me and my buddy each a full bottle of rum because they didn't feel like loading it back up. That alone was worth it.

I've done that a few times and it is a good time. Except the ticket purchase for drink and beer blows. Why not just let me pay cash at the booth ?

It ended up being pretty enjoyable. Most of the samples were on point. I'd go again for sure
