Breakfast for dinner is fine but a burger for breakfast is fantastic

I ask my husband to make me scrambled eggs when I feel bad. I can't grocery shop very well either but I can still do grocery pickup most days.

Scrambled eggs do seem to be well tolerated overall. There’s several variations of GI follow studies where the patient eats scrambled eggs with a chemical “dye” that shows up using x-ray, or radioactive tracers for pet scans, or little plastic pellets that come out the other end to complete the study.

For some reason scrambled sits better than an omelette. Guessing texture matters.

P.S.

Breakfast for dinner on a rainy night is hard to beat. It's one of our defaults when we didn't make plans for anything else and don't feel like going to the store. We also have it much more often during winter months.

3-4 times a year. Probably ought to do it more often. I do make ham, egg and cheese soft tacos for lunch more often than that.

No one in my house eats breakfast but we all love breakfast food so at least once a week we’ll have a breakfast supper.

We will do it occasionally at home. Will also sometimes on busy nights when running around and fast food becomes dinner will get breakfast burritos from Sonic. Always way better at dinner time because they are made fresh as no one else is ordering eggs at that time.

We do some version of breakfast once a week. Any of the below combinations, and always with fresh fruit.

Pancakes and sausage
Eggs/bacon/toast
Sausage/egg/cheese muffin
Breakfast burritos
Bacon/hash browns
Grits and smoked sausage

Weekly during colder months.

Almost never during the summer.

I told my coworker that I was craving breakfast for dinner tonight and he said that he's never heard of anyone eating grits, eggs, bacon and toast for dinner.

Does anyone else have this sometimes?

Yes. Maybe once a quarter. It's usually a situation where it is late and/or we didn't meal plan well that week.

Breakfast burritos, with egg, sausage, salsa, cheese, and sour cream. Any time, night or day.

Pico de Gallo, fresh cilantro, and avocado are also welcomed....
