Not sure, but that's the third restaurant within blocks on Coursey that's gone under in the past couple of weeks.

They're re-opening in the spot on George O'neal where Isabella's used to be.

Behind Portobello's, accross the street from George's.

On the sign outside, it says "Coming Soon: The Original Italian Pie". Was wondering what that meant...

They both taste like shite. Isabella's is hot gawbage, and Italian Pie seems waaay different than the one i remember eating at in Gentilly.

That dude that owns Isabella's is Turkish, and is the same dude that had that place Amorphae (sp chk?) over on Highland that didn't last but a few months. He must have some good financial backers or serious capital to be playing musical chairs with locations in this economy.

That might come to an end if he keeps getting into legal troubles for playing grab-arse with under aged workers.

I thought Isabella's was pretty weak.

I'm glad something is opening in that spot. I just wish it'd be something other than Italian Pie.

Yeah I know, but I'd rather 2 locations than Italian Pie LOL

I thought Isabella's was alright. Granted, I hate pizza. But for me to like a pizza place means it must be okay since I hate all of it
