about on par with how N.La thinks Johnny’s pizza is anything other than a garbage pie at best

think everyone can agree that Serrano's had the worst Tex Mex food of any restaurant in town when they were around.

So there was a diamond in the ruff that was only opened for a year or so back in 2009-10ish. Saritas. Not Salsaritas on perkins, This place was s buffet on Bennington next to The Station. It was exactly what a mexican buffet should be.

Years ago...there was a place on starring lane near perkins called CAFE SANTA FE...it served new Mexican Mexican food...it was delicious...unfortunately the husband and wife got divorced and it closed...

Ridiculous. NY Pizza & Pasta, Pizza Roma, & Bistro Italia all put Johnny's to shame... and that's just off the top of my head.

And when i said my statement i was really comparing it to any delvery or buffet type of pizza place. I didnt want to bring in the boutique pizza places, but i guess i didnt saying Zepplin, my bad.

I Love NY style pizza the only place close in BR is NY Pizza & Pasta. I enjoy Bistro Italia as well , but not NY Style IMO.

Well i grew up in a border town so I’ve had plenty. And the food I’ve had in BR isn’t that far off tbh. It’s tex mex FFS. It’s hardly supposed to be anything other than just good.

I mean I prefer authentic Mexican but if we’re talking tex mex I really can’t complain about the quality. Maybe some restaurants make better chimichangas or burritos than others. frick if i know.

quote:gotcha. Like i have said multiple times. BR has some GREAT taquerias. Its shocking how had it is to get people to put a little brain power into this and think deeper than the surface. There is a different between traditional Mexican and Tex-mex. you cant compare taquerias to tex-mex restaurants, the food is different.
I mean I prefer authentic Mexican
