Don’t put salt on your steak. That way you can taste the meat, not a salty taste.

Ribeye is my fave. Typically olive oil, salt, and pepper. However, I tried Stubbs Steak Seasoning once and that became my go-to.

Sirloin. Typically Italian dressing of a healthy portion of Dale’s seasoning overnight. Then cook to medium and finish with a reduction of Worcester sauce and ketchup

Anyone else when they were young really thought steak marinating in Italian dressing was the greatest thing?
Ever do it with cheap cuts for old time's sake? I do. It is what it is.

This is the FDB, we only eat wagyu at least 2" thick and cooked perfect every. single. time.
I haven't done italian dressing in a long while, but I love a japanese flavor on a sirloin with a sweet and spicy fish/soy sauce.
London broil seared and sliced perfect.
Black iron skillet with butter and fresh chopped herbs

I want to do the whole put the steak on lump charcoal/coals thing, caveman steak or whatever. I've had steak cooked most ways. But not that. I'd give it a shot.
But I'm a salt and pepper guy.

Came so close to doing that tonight. Chopped up the steaks into burgers instead.
I think on the coals is the next reverse sear fad.

Sea salt and black peppercorn. Normally a strip, but a ribeye every now and then.

Favorite cut: Ribeye cut no less than 1 1/2 inches thick
Seasoning: Let come to near room temperature and season liberally with sea salt, black pepper and a bit of garlic powder.
Cook: Get the Weber grill to 700 and cook between rare and medium rare with good grill marks.

Ribeye or T-bone.
I use Dale's instead of salt, just rub a little on the surface and then fresh ground pepper (mix of white and black).

There’s an old good eats where Alton brown does this with skirt steak... he let the coals get grey, then used a hair dryer to blow the ash off then laid the steak right on the coals

I've been using this seasoning and I like it a lot. I put on my steaks and whatever vegg I grill.

I" NY Strips liberally covered in salt in black pepper reversed seared. 45 minutes in the oven at 275 and 35 seconds per side on a hot skillet. Perfect every time.

Cooked my first flat iron steak last week. Blew me away how tender and flavorful it was. Marinaded the steak on a thin layer of thyme and red wine for 20 minutes a side. Heavy salt and pepper after patting dry and rubbing EVO on the steak. Oven temp set at 225 and cooked to 135, 15 minute rest, then 45 second sear on hot cast iron.
