My wife bought 6 lbs of shrimp and sausage jambalaya that is heavy tomato based and small grain rice. It doesn't taste awful but doesn't taste authentic.

It's in frig and was going to reheat tomorrow for the game.

Need help.

Roll them into balls, bread and deep fry. Creole Arancini. Get to work.

Reheat today and drop off at your kids School. Those teachers will eat anything and they will praise you for being so “nice”

Is it seasoned? Is there enough salt and trinity in it?

Make a trinity spiced a little heavy with seasonings you like. Slowly mix in jambalaya.

Work the rice to make it more sticky.

It won't have texture. But you can improve the flavor.

Place the heavy tomato based jambalaya in the largest pan you have and spoon flat. Then, use a butter knife to slice one inch squares in the jambalaya (be careful not to cut into the pan). Let the jambalaya rest under stove vent fan for 1 hour (be careful not to go longer). Use the flavor enhancer seasoning Accent (MSG). The key is to lightly sprinkle the Accent in the grooves cut in the jambalaya (don't use too much!). Next, get a hair blow-dryer set on medium heat and blow for 3 1/2 minutes. Place 8 ounces of chicken broth in a spray bottle and add 1/2 tablespoon of cayenne pepper and finely ground ancho chilli. Mix well, and spray mist over jambalaya. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Get a cedar plank the width of your oven and spread the jambalaya. Finely grate one white onion and one orange bellpepper evenly on top. Heat the jambalaya until warm in the center and crusty on top. Next, scrape off the jambalaya into the trash can and eat the cedar plank. No one eats jambalaya with tomato in it....
