Package it like normal. When they ask what you’re shipping, say olive oil.

It’s not rocket science.

I sent a bottle of booze to a guy serving in Kuwait during Desert Storm, so I guess wine to another state shouldn't be a big problem

If anyone asks what it is, say grape juice

Buy a bottle online and have them ship to your friend as long as he lives in a state that allows it. That’s the legal way.

What the other posters have said. Use ups or fedex (whichever is cheaper). You can look that up and compare pricing/pay on shippo.

LOTS of bubble wrap and make sure it can’t move inside the box. USPS Priority flat rate box is your cheapest option, but know that it’s not legal to ship alcohol via USPS. FedEx and UPS will cost more, and it’s still against their policy to ship alcohol without the proper account, licensing, etc.

Did I mention to use lots of bubble wrap?

Do not use the post office. It’s a federal offense if caught. Ups/FedEx only but it’s still probably not legal depending where from and too and what it is. Last I was told the only thing legal in Louisiana was wine NOT distributed in the state can be shipped in. That’s it… Can’t ship anything out. That’s according to the ATC agent I was talking to about it.

Bubble wrap a good bit then in a box packed TIGHT with peanuts. Double tape the top and bottom seems. Run a single strip on each side of the center tape top and bottom. Run a single strip along the corner seal of the box that glued. If it’s real expensive double box it with a layer of peanuts between boxes.

This is how your box will be traveling.

They make air bags and styrofoam bottle shippers. Keep it snug in the box and add a box of .99 Mac and cheese. Helps from them not hearing the liquid.

Good call. I did this as well when shipping a bottle of bourbon.
