Central Market has awesome sandwiches and incredible cheese selection. And awesome tamales..

It does, but if I was going to visit the city for a weekend it wouldn't be where I'd eat a lunch.

Maybe not if you're from Houston.. But if you're from a small town in Louisiana, CM is definitely something you want to check out if you have the opportunity..

I'm from nola, if I was going for a weekend I'd go to one of the restaurants as they have numerous great spots, lunch included, but to each his own.

I live in Houston and grab lunch at CM all the time. When the parents come to visit they like to hit it up for lunch on the way out of town and pick up a few things as well.
