J Bar M has gone downhill significantly since that happened…shame…because that outdoor area was perfect to let my 2 heathen children run around.

Disappointing but not surprising. The Red One and I went during soft opening and I was jacked for a close spot to downtown to add to the lunch rotation, knew it was too good to be true.

So these brisket enchiladas at Brett's definitely didn't disappoint.

They definitely need their new location. Parking and places to sit are in short supply at current location.

Good list but Roegels ribs (Voss) are top tier. Nice lunch today and may go double cuke next time.

Agree.

IMO, Rogels (Voss) and Terry Black's had the best pork ribs I've eaten. Don't get me wrong, there are many others with great ribs. Just thought these were a grade higher.

Nice

What part of town? Houston eating has gotten so much better even since I have moved here (2019).

went twice and it was decent but I felt bad because we were the only ones eating in there both times.

Someone saying that in 2013 might deserve this response. Just under 10 years later...there's a legit argument to be made.

A bunch of the Invesco staff now works from home full-time, so you'll be ok.

Staying in The Heights. Seems like a fine enough area.

Have been to some good places so far, mostly Mexican and BBQ. Had a great meal at Le Jardinier at the MFA.

Want to get over to Uchi soon.
