I like coffe, but wasn't a big daily drinker because I absolutely hated Keurig coffee. Tried dozens of pods and they all tasted like water to me.

I saw everyone talking about the Nespresso machines being better than the Keurigs, and I finally decided to buy one ~2 weeks ago. Wow. What a difference. This thing is awesome. The espresso/coffee is worlds better than anything a Keurig could do.

I wanted to get the CitiZ (Nespresso Original Machine) as many of you recommended, but they costed significantly more than the Vertuo Next Premium w/ milk frother I ended up buying (Right under $200 after 20% off and tax from Bed Bath & Beyond). I wanted the original line so I could get the 3rd party pods, but especially not having tried either of them before, I had to go with the cheaper Vertuo. Anyway, the coffee is worth the ~$1/capsule in my opinion.

I have also seen people reuse the vertuo capsules with espresso ground and foil, or by using metal reusable capsules sold on amazon. Does anyone have any experience with these? What are your favorite capsules/daily drinkers? I am still working on the samples that came with the machine. I believe my preferred drink is like a cappuccino style (shot of espresso or double with the frothed milk), but I am not a coffee guru. Thanks for any suggestions.

I mainly drink Alto Intenso. I do have double espresso chiaro that I make lattes with.

I always buy them on their app and get free shipping with over $35 purchases.

It really is a great machine for what it is. I typically buy the 40packs through Macy's where i get a discount. Have had better luck getting them cheaper there vs Nespresso directly

I've tried a lot of the 1st party flavors and several 3rd party ones, and I've found I like the Ristretto Intenso the best. To me it tastes like what basic espresso is supposed to taste like.

The milk frother is awesome. I use it a lot to make matcha with milk.

If you like pumpkin spice for fall flavors I recommend trying it. Even though their pods can get pricey it’s still way less than stopping at a coffee shop

2 of these over ice every morning.

Love the summer double espresso they have come out with the last 2 summers but they are already have come and gone. Wish they just sold them year round.

I’ve been on the fence ab ordering one of these but after seeing this thread and getting an email from BB&B ab sale I pulled the trigger on the Vertuo Next machine. With the discount and also using 20% off coupon it came out to $134 when it’s originally listed at $225

It’s really good coffee.

I lost my reusable pod my wife ordered, the problem with the reusable is the machine puts it in the garbage/ recycle spot so you have to remove it immediately after you make it. I think what happened is I used it then my wife made one and didn’t realize it was in there. It was also weak, but it was fine and a lot cheaper so I was fine with it.
