Is there a better Apple than a honeycrisp? I am not a big Apple eater, but I bought a bag of these and I am now addicted.

Frick a red delicois. They are probably the reason I didn't like apples, unless they were dipped in caramel

Yes, but only heritage types.

I had an apple a few weeks ago that was essentially just caramel in fruit form

This is a podcast that talks about the development of modern "good" apples. it's only 14 min. and interesting.

I've always listed these two as my favorites in apple threads, but I still love McIntosh. They have incredible flavor, but most can't handle the slightly mealy texture. I don't mind it so much.

SweeTango and Honeycrisp are such a great combination of sweet, juicy, and crunchy with a bit of sour.
