Do y'all have some links on the ATC stuff? I hadn't heard about any of that.
There is plenty of talk about it on our club facebook page. Can't link from work.

Long and short of the ATC crap is that the ATC has decided that charging a general admission fee for an event where homebrew is served constitutes the 'sale' of homebrew.
This interpretation will mean that there will be no more homebrew at events like Zapps and WYES.

I think we will get the homebrew stuff worked out before Zapp's next year. It just sucks for the festivals in the near future, and for the up and coming breweries that can no longer participate in those events. I haven't spoken to anyone at the ATC about it yet, but will do some research when I sit down and actually look into it. The main office isnt far from my house, but it isn't a big priority at the moment (sorry guys). Our meeting is next week, so I am going to see what happens with RSB on Thursday and if anyone ATC guys show up to check for a permit. With Tom (Cove) not being in the best graces of the ATC I will probably tell our group to not bring any homebrew next week just in case. Want to waste those frickers time if they feel the need to raid our meeting, since I doubt we get a permit in time. I suppose we could try.

I brewed an oatmeal stout today. Started taking photos to show everybody my inside brewing rig but then stopped taking photos once I started cooling. Slipped my mind. So y'all miss out.
Og ended up at 1066, didn't have any ice so the wort is sitting in the chill chest until it hits pitching temp. Pitching a slurry of so4 from two previous beers

Are you electric or are you using propane indoors?

Post what you took anyway.

No pics from me, but I brewed a session IPA last night. OG was 1.041. Simcoe & Amarillo hops. Will dry hop with more Amarillo. Curious to see how this turns out. I've been digging the Founders All Day IPA of late, and this is even lighter.

They are trying to get everything worked out. Find the local group malt munching mash monsters on Facebook. They got some info up

Same here. I'd love to be able to brew indoors, but I'm fairly sure I'd electrocute myself if I went electric.

Neither, I use my gas stove during the summer months. I actually may not move back outside in the winter. It is too easy inside. I'm uploading the pics to photobucket now, will post in a second.

How long did it take you to get water up to the mash temps? I'm brewing my oatmeal stout this weekend, but the weather looks pretty shitty for saturday and sunday.
