Don't think so.

Brewed last Friday and checked gravity on Wednesday and it was down to 1.008. Had stopped bubbling by Monday basically. Love that quickness.

Nope. I am going to crash out my tripel tonight. Will keg and sample then store for a homebrew contest later this year.

I think the beer I made Friday was done about that fast too. I havent checked the gravity but I havent seen activity all week. White Labs American Ale is a beast.

ETA: checked the gravity, sitting a couple points higher than I hoped, but no problem with where it is at. (1013 instead of 1011)
Maybe it will drop another bit in the next couple days before I crash it.

Good deal there. I think I want 1 pin lock. That way I'll be able to fit three total in my kegerator.
I'll just convert it to ball lock connections. Just need to find a single for cheap.

Not me...

Barleywine is still fermenting away was down from 1.113 to 1.040 as of this morning. Hoping to get under 1.020 before the yeast crap out.

Our club's July style of the month is American Wheat. Going to brew a 3F Gumballhead clone next week to liven things up.

I need to finish of the keg of Fortunate Islands clone this weekend. Best wheat beer I've made, easily

If I can get by HB HQs, then I plan to get the stuff to brew another batch of Dark Mild (JK Commercial Suicide clone). However, my #1 priority is to get a box in the mail tomorrow. Then I'll add some orange peel to my beach beer - 100% Brett wheat, just keeping it real simple since it will be for a lot of non-farmhouse beer drinkers. My brothers brewed up a batch of double IPA for the same beach trip.

I also want to make a pull from my 2 year old sour barrel. Maybe bottle some straight and then dry hop the rest with Citra and bottle with champagne yeast.

Can you add orange peel after primary? Also, what are you drinking homebrew out of at the beach?

Yes. And there are great ways to turn a cube icechest with wheels into a portable kegerator.

Think bottomland has one he made.

I keep threatening to buy a cube cooler every fall when they go on sale but never do. Haven't really had a need for it yet though

I don't have a picture handy, but it's pretty simple. I cut out the top to tightly fit my kegs. I place the keg in there, fill with ice, and then cram the top down over it. I've taken it on many trips where it stayed coled for 3-4 days if sitting inside. 2-3 days if outside in the shade - assuming Middle Tennessee weather. Bonus is it has wheels. Grab one of those small CO2 cannister chargers and a short cobra tap, and you're good to go.

Just pulled my first pint from a pale ale I brewed a couple weeks back. I had planned on only using Simcoe, but at the last minute I threw in 2 oz Citra along with 2 oz Simcoe for the dry hops. I shouldn't have done that. I'm so burned out on Citra right now. The good news is that I don't have any left in my house, so I don't have to worry about using it for a while. The rest of the beer is good, but that Citra nose is a little distracting.
