I'm sure I can get some to him. My wife's cousins wife works with him.
I will be bringing with me a box of Crosscut stuff for him to distribute as he sees fit. Hopefully you will be able to get some from him after my trip.

I love a visit to the homebrew store, especially when it's not crowded. Picked up some ingredients for a low abv saison for WYES.
6 lbs pils
1 lb munich
1 lb rye
.5 lb acid malt
0.7 oz Northern Brewer at 60
1.3 oz Northern brewer at whirlpool
I'll pitch in on to my Yeast Bay Wallonian Farmhouse cake.
Shooting for around 4.2% abv.

My wife asked if I wanted to brew for national homebrewers day this weekend. She never does that. Naturally, I don't have any ingredients or a store within 80 miles

Do it! Use the same grain bill and just change the hops
I've done that with my pale ale recipe and you can really tell the difference in the hops used

Decided today was a good day to dry hop a 100% brett orange chamomile lavender ale with some Amarillo. It is still really young but that hasn't stopped the brett from getting some action going

Pellicle porn is always appreciated.
Paging Bmoney, how do you get the peanut butter in your PB Stout? I brewed with someone the other day and they used a powdered peanut butter. I haven't had the finished product, but the wort was most definitely peanut buttery. I'm interested to see how this guys beer survives fermentation.

I was actually surprised to see it on such a young beer. That brew was pitched on the cake from my last brett pale ale and just went gang busters in no time at all.

MoreBeer has the GigaYeast Vermont IPA strain back in stock if anyone was looking to brew a Heady Topper clone.

I use the powdered peanut butter (PB2), but I use it in secondary. I'm wondering what fermentation would do to PB2. Let me know how it turns out.

Got the ipa in the fermentor, had a lot of boil off. Gravity came in a little under target, but it smells great!!!
Pale ale is sitting pretty in The mash. 20 minutes in and still dead in 152.

I decided to brew again today. Going with a big IPA I planned a little while back. Trying out hop extract for the first time. Someone in this thread warned me not to taste the extract, but you know how that goes. Some potent stuff! Phew. Lesson learned.

I'll be shocked if this isn't a good IPA. No reason why you can't brew any style and not have it turn out pretty damn good.

Thanks. This hop extract looks like BP has been using my brew kettle. Very oily. Very good aroma from the extract.

I've heard that they can make kettle cleaning a pain in the arse because of all the residue that builds up during the boil.
