That yeast has been cold before and worked just fine afterwards. If what you're doing works for you then have at it.

Hell, Stone publishes all of their recipe's on their site except for Arrogant Bastard.
There is another breweries website, besides stone, that does the same thing. I saw it yesterday. I can't remember which one though. You click on the beer, and then on the side there is a homebrew drop down.

Did you use the RR recipe? I know the owner of RR has released the homebrew version of his recipe in zymurgy and other places.
It was the Austin Homebrew clone kit. They had a buy one get one free promo, so I split it with s14.

I've cold crashed when I bottled with no ill effects. Carbonated just fine. I keg now, so force carbonating it means I'll be drinking it Friday. I will never bottle again. Well, I say that, but I rigged up a picnic tap and some beer line to bottle straight from the keg. But that's way different that doing the whole priming sugar/bottling bucket song and dance. frick that shite.

I need an outside fridge that i can convert into a kegerator/beer fridge. I like yours. You posted a picture a while ago of it.
How did you manage to drill through the door without hitting a coil? Or is all of the coils in the side and back of the fridge?

You ain't kidding. I can crank the regulator up to 40psi and rock that baby over my knee for a minute and be fully carbed in a few hours.

Coils aren't on the door in a fridge. Freezer on top type fridge is pretty ideal if you ask me. Hop storage up top and beer on bottom.

That's what i'm searching for.
If anyone knows of someone trying to get rid of a working fridge, let me know.

They are all in the back. I have 4 taps in the front and a hole for the CO2 line on the side, no coils were damaged.
I plan on kegging an IPA tomorrow, probably bottling a few first for Dixie Cup, I just use carb tabs for the few bottles out of each batch and then keg the rest.

Craigslist is your friend.

Best thing I ever did for homebrewing. I wouldn't brew as much if I had to bottle.

Exactly. That's what I will do tonight. The only reason I won't get to try it tomorrow is because I won't be home.

I'm in that position. My fermenting freezer is full of bottles at the moment. I would say i'm on hold, but i'm brewing more anyway.

Like you'll need another taste of IPA after tomorrow.

B, how many taps do you have? I have portions of 3 batches bottled at home now with one to bottle in the next few weeks and one I will brew this weekend. Seems like I would need 4 at a minimum, maybe more.

I have 4 taps, and very very rarely are they all in use.

I only have two taps at the moment but I can have up to 4 kegs being served and cooled at my house. 90% of the beer I make ends up being served elsewhere outside of my house though.

I have 2 now. Contemplating going to 3, which would be great except I would lose the ability to cold crash before kegging due to lack of space. That wouldn't be a huge deal, would just mean dry hopping in bags.
I couldn't do 4 unless I drilled a hole in the side for the CO2 tank to sit outside the fridge. And that's something I'm probably not going to do.

None that care about beer. I give away a few bottles to folks now, but when we entertain at home the folks we have over dont care anything about homebrewing

Why not, it seems to work fine for me... just don't overdo the hole. Or you could always grommet it for a snug fit.

I do have 4 kegs though, so I can switch out some if needed.
