What's your favorite and are you a fan of displaying your bourbon, say on a bar cart or wall mounted cabinet, etc.??

Looking to build a couple one-off type items for bourbon carts/cabinets.

Milam and Greene is my current fave. It's from Texas.

High West products are all good.

And no, I don't feel a need to display them.

Very close in Blanco and very tasty. I've been meaning to go tour.

No display here either. We have decanters for tequila, rum, whiskey, vodka & gin. My go to is Wild Turkey 101.

Four Roses single barrel has been my favorite for about 3 years now. A little sweet with just enough bite for my liking.

I like to display bottles that are horse themed- Kentucky Derby edition Woodfords, Blantons, Calumet, Old Scout, Black Saddle, etc. cause I'm a horse owner and I find them unique. But I think displaying a Pappy just cause you have a bottle of Pappy is douchy.

I keep a few bottles on my bar, typically easy drinkers that I'm not afraid to share (Eagle Rare picks, Buffalo Trace picks, Blanton's, Henry McKenna 10 yr, etc...).

I don't display my "good" stuff

This is an older photo, many of those bottles are gone/replaced, but I have floating shelves for my “good” stuff, and an inexpensive bar for everything else.

This was taken just prior to Covid. I did some damage to it during that time.

I’m partial to the Ezra Brooks Distillers Collection and the Jefferson’s Reserve.

Have you tried Pin Hook? Every batch is named for a different horse, and the bottle is themed to suit. Also fantastic value, as they usually run less than $40 a bottle

Is that a brag? It’s harder to get BT and ER picks than standard Blanton’s

Elijah Craig is my favorite and actually the cheapest bottle I have. All tucked away in a cupboard.
