In a 3 day period I went to Ink, Spago, Chi Spacca, The Heart and the Hunter and other than that I think it was mostly hole in the wall places.

Some of my own cooking
Girlfriend was doing Paleo so for Asian night I made her a Thai meatball soup with zoodles
7 Flavor Beef inspired by the dish at Wild Ginger in Seattle
Dynamite Shrimp
I attempted some other things that night. Some fries from a Japanese yam...they didn't really crisp up like I had hoped.

I just did Honor Bar, The Henry (gorgeous new spot across from The Ivy), Taste on Melrose, Gracias Madre, Prospect Gourmand, The Ponte (Scott Conant restaurant where I finally got to try his spaghetti that began at his NYC restaurant Scarpetta)... hmm. Probably more but I’d have to think back.
Tried to do Cecconi’s but walked in and was legitimately intimidated by the people , lmao. Won’t return until I’m dressed much much differently. Probably not even until I have a guest with me.

Oh poor you!
My attempt at some Indian food. Main dish was fantastic.
Making Bananas foster at home
Some oddball Japanese curry pork chop dish I was experimenting with
Coffee machine I wish I had at my house - Kimber Modern Hotel in Austin, TX. For the price you pay to stay there they should have one in every room.

Spread of food at Cafe Caspian in Houston. Great Persian food. I believe these were a couple Iranian stews if I remember right.
Both of these are from Cafe Minh in NOLA
Not pictured but they have an excellent Banana Creme Pie at Cafe Minh if you make room for dessert.
Bonus pic: I've gone far back enough to find a pic of the girlfriend's dog when it was a puppy.
Don't remember the details of this dish but I remember really enjoying these oysters from 3 Muses in NOLA

San Diego last week was out of control. This restaurant spent $6MM on their interior.
I have a lot of pics that are cool. I’ll upload when I’m in BR tonight.

Made Ramen Cacio Pepe...surprisingly easy to make and tasted great

Scarpetta was great. I had ravioli filled with fois, and my wife had a bone marrow dish that was to die for.
Wine blurred the whole experience though.

Man I wish I remember
That was from a Paleo Thai cookbook I got to make some stuff for the GF.
This is the cookbook it's from

To be honest the soup was pretty good but if I didn't tell you it was a Thai dish you probably wouldn't have guessed it. I thought it could have used some more spice.
