Help request - is there such a thing as a Vegan king cake?

got a message from eldest daughter in Baltimore, she is wondering if she can get a vegan king cake?

is there such a thing?

if so, who makes them and do they ship?

“Girls gone vegan” makes a decent king cake. Maybe there’s a website. Got some for a friend with food allergies and it tasted pretty good.

Bearcat Cafe in New Orleans has them. Not sure if they ship or not.

Edit: Breads on Oak has them too.

looks like they're no longer in business, one of the owners was killed in an accident last year

Breads on Oak makes a very good vegan kingcake. I had a piece and its hard to tell the difference.

Easiest thing to do would be find vegan cinnamon rolls and add your own icing.

Didn't say best. Just said easiest.

Actually it was vegan and gluten free and it was fantastic. I am so bummed they are out of business because of what happened to one of the owners

+1 to Breads on Oak. All of their stuff is quality, in spite of its vegan-ness. I have no idea if they ship.
