College Inn just hired a new chef Brad McGehee who was most recently at Ritz Carlton (under Matt Murphy). Word is he has been given more reign over menu and they want to start doing more farm fresh, original dining, while still keeping the classics (but improving them).

Good to know. I have been going to College Inn since I can remember. They used to have the largest menu I have ever seen.

Domilises . . . I hate to say it . . . isn't really that great.

I like Dom's, but there are better places for sure.

After reading this thread, realizing I haven't had a po boy in entirely too long. May have to remedy this by pulling the parkway trigger.

I miss Ye olde Ye Olde College Inn.
It was like eating at a nursing home dining room, but it was great.

That is a good one pull. I go through stages where I won't eat a po-boy for literally months. Then I eat two a week for about the same amount of time.

I hope someone has mentioned Johnny's in this thread.

Not too small, though. I've always thought Guy's had the perfect shrimp poboy.
For an example of too big, see Mahoney's (although, I generally like the place otherwise).

Parenton's has really been talked up on here. Hopefully, I'll get to try it soon. It better be as good as y'all make it out to be.
