Heading for an early mother's day and want to try something different. I have had every cut they have with the exception of the large porterhouse. Any suggestions of what to get besides a steak? Leaning Lamb Chops but open to suggestions.

Don't frick it up by trying to get all fancy. Get a delicious steak on a 5,000,000 degree plate with butter on it.

The one in BR actually does well with other items other than steak. It is different than all the other Ruths. They had some good fish dishes

If you are going to any of the others, just get steak.

You don't have much of a choice if you don't want steak again, chop, chicken and fish unless you go the appetizer route.

I get what you are saying though if this is for the wife and you want something else. I am sure the lamb is good, but never had it. If I was not getting a steak I would probably be doing 2-3 appetizers as an entree.

I get the veal chop in BR, but recently, I was told they no longer serve it. I haven't been in a while, though. It was delicious.

I would expect that lamb chops would be well prepared there. The BR restaurant has always been very good. I don't think you can go wrong.

Went with the lamb and I must say it was very tasty. I'd say on par with the steak. Cooked med rare and had a nice char once you got close to the bone (made sure to pick up and naw every ounce of meat off it). Would order again

I know you already went but the only thing good at Ruth's Chris is their cheesecake.

Butter has never damaged my taste buds. Makes them happy.
