OK. So I am NOT the owner or affiliated with the restaurant. Ate there in December. It was acceptable but didn’t blow me out of the water. I had a pasta dish, can’t even remember what exactly if that tells you how memorable it was, but it certainly wasn’t “bad”. The place is small and located in a strip mall so ambiance is what you would expect when you shove a bunch of tables and chairs into a square strip mall retail room. On the upside, I remember everyone in our party saying it was good enough they would be willing to give it another try. It was very, very busy the night we were there so I would like to give it another shot when it isn’t so busy and see if that helps things.

That being said, if you are ordering pizza in Mandeville and not getting Bosco’s you are making a mistake. And I am not Mr. Bosco either FWIW.

You guys are some frickin geniuses! Got it all figured out. I chose The Sicilian as my user name because its the birthplace of my Great Grandfather. I'm from the southshore (of lake Pontchartrain) know where thats at dip$hit? Go to the restaurant and speak to the chef and it will become obvious that he is not from this country. Ask him, he'll tell you that he's from SICILY! I am just trying to give a little shout out to a restaurant my wife and I happen to like a lot. Over the last couple of years (lurking), I have gotten some great tips from this board. You don't want to check out a new restaurant? Suit yourself.

We go there quite often. Leo is a great guy. He uses quality ingredients and it shows.
He makes the best cannoli I have ever had. And I've had my fair share.

We've been once. It's good and casual Italian. It's quite small and has no atmosphere at all. This is my biggest knock against this place and unfortunately, besides moving locations, is not something that they will be able to control or change.

The food was good enough to go back and we plan to. I do agree with a previous poster that pizza wise, Bosco's > Leo's. I also felt the menu pricing was fair and very reasonable. Service was also very good.

We ended up there tonight because of the after hours vet next door, all in all it was pretty decent. We didn’t get any pizza but the fried calamari and the pasta was good enough that I’d go back if we happened to be back down that way.

My exact take from eating there. Adequate, but not my first go to place for italian on the northshore.

Now that was good. Don't think it's called Bop's any longer.

Dammit, this is a bump.
