Thanks to the guys who recommended it. The food was great and the service was good, with the waiter being very knowledgeable about the menu and suggesting great entrees. it was my first time there and its a seafood place, but ended up with the hanger steak and it was great! Had the mussels as an appetizer. I highly recommend it, the seafood dishes that were orderd were great also.

If you are ever downtown M-F for lunch, stop in for the tapas menu...awesome value and selection.

I happened to walk by there around 7:45 last night - a gorgeous woman was sitting at a table by the window, but I'm not sure anyone else was even in there...kinda strange.

MiLa is next for me, but I'm gonna get there one of these days.

I had lunch there a week or so ago. It was excellent, something I will have to do again.

I agree, the tapas for lunch are incredible. BUt then again, my good friend is the tapas chef...so I might be just a tad partial.

Glad you enjoyed it. It's a great restaurant. I think it's one of the best in the city. They've also been doing some tasting menus based on specific regions of Spain. They usually are centered around the wine regions and come with wine pairings. We've been to a few and really enjoyed them. Look out for those.

I ate at La Boca fairly recently (which was ridiculously good), and heard that it's under the same ownership as Rio Mar.

Fact?

Yes. You can add A Mano to the list as well.

Yes. Adolpho Garcia is part of the ownership group that has Rio Mar, la Boca, and AMano.

somebody should give the folks at Rio Mar/La Boca a heads up that their websites are f'd up. La Boca is down completely and Rio Mar is being flagged as unsafe (malware, I guess) by Google.
