Had dinner at Supper Club last night

It was amazing and all you haters obviously haven’t been. It was the best meal I’ve had (maybe ever) in Baton Rouge.
That’s all I wanted to say.
Edit: OK, we got:
-Grilled cheese dumplings - seriously delicious, made us cry
-Shishito Peppers - it was alright. We enjoyed the game of Russian Roulette (1 in 20 peppers are spicy)
-8oz Filet with crab Oscar - Perfect filet with an ever better cook.
-4oz of A5 Wagyu - First time I’ve had the opportunity to try authentic A5 from Japan. It was like butter. Very rich and melted in my mouth. 4oz was enough to fill me up
-Potatoes au gratin - about as good as it can get
-Crème Brûlée - A whopping 10 inch crème brûlée that they make table side with a comically large blow torch, served with fresh berries and an Italian cookie crumble
-A host of cocktails - my favorite was the old fashioned. They smoked it as the table with a torch and you get to select your wood (oak, cherry, or maple)

But seriously, I’d be curious to hear what you ordered and what made it such a great meal.
Did you see individuals at nearby tables moving and shaking?

Did you have to up the limits on your Visa just to pay for it?

Well then, I'm sure they would fit right in with the other wannabes that frequent that joint.

Did you post on Instagram or just do a story? This is a very important detail in your moving and shaking profile

Wow such detail. Paid endorsement?

Was it the pasta sauce that won you over?

I don't even like Vegas style dining in Vegas. I found everything bland and over priced. EXTREMELY overpriced. I ate as much food put out by the conferences as I could and had a few meals put on by suppliers and it all sucked or was OK and overpriced. WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THAT IN BATON ROUGE. I can the pick of a ton of local restaurants with a non yuppie atmosphere and actual good food in varying price ranges.

It’s actually not bad. We intentionally went overboard bc it was a special occasion, but it’s on par with Stabs or Ruth’s Chris.

Relax, you can still go to Parrains.

I can't get beyond the "Arm Candy" and "Side Pieces" on the menu. So much cringe on that menu. I can't image I'll ever go just for that reason alone. Besides, I'm neither a mover nor a shaker.

It’s amazing that this place is still serving good food and still has people raving about it. According to this board, it should have been closed by now.
Like I originally said, y’all laugh at this place (and yes, it’s cheesy and terribly corny) but their business is good so far. It may be a fad, but for now at least, they are doing well. The Capitol city with lawyers, lobbyists, business owners, and politicians (all those movers and shakers) can support this restaurant, for now at least. Baton Rouge isn’t all cargo shorts, LSU hat wearin baws…there are wealthy people in this city.
