If it means anything to you I’ve lived here 8 years and have eaten at Docs once. Just another fry shack like shrimp basket. My suggestion would be Anchor bar and grill for a meal. Small menu with high quality ingredients. Never been disappointed and an awesome view.

I was reminded to suggest Fin and Fork. Not as white table cloth as Fishers but really good and lunch menu same as dinner just lunch pricing and portioned.

Pink Pony,my wife and I went there for a 4th of July. Nachos were awesome. We had some beers. When the fireworks ended we went to the Hangout for more beers and dancing. We haven't tried anything else on the menu at the Pony.

Stay away from tacky jacks if you want shrimp.

Anyone ever had Doc's shrimp? I always see the advertisement saying they're the best price for the anywhere, and have them at curious to try them

I went to Doc's for the 1st time in June after driving by it for 15 years or so. It is always packed, but honestly it was just ok. If you are going to advertise the best fried shrimp in the world then it damn well better be. Small and a light cracker crumb breading. I wouldn't wait an hour for it again.
