NEW ORLEANS —
Another popular New Orleans restaurant is set to close its doors.

Gris-Gris on Magazine Street will close at the end of July, according to an announcement from its owners.

Once they move on its lights out

Then some other random weird restaurant will open and the same thing will repeat itself

I love their balcony. Arguably one of the better ones in the city.

Maaaaaaan, “Blondie” & I loved that place. If Casamento’s closes later, not sure I’ll have a reason to go to Magazine. “Blondie” will still have J. McLaughlin to go to…

The restaurant business is terribly difficult to succeed in these days. Even in large cities, restaurants have a very short lifespan. The cost of overhead has significantly exceeded the cost of food, so it has become very obvious that you are not getting good value for your money. Alcohol sales also used to pad the bottom line, but people are drinking significantly less now.

That’s right. And prior to that root was in the warehouse district/cbd area
