Andrew answered this last time via Ross and said they were working to get the price down. Pretty sure it had to do with hop contracts

Ahh--don't think I ever saw that.

Damn, I believe you, just don't understand it. I thought brewery was always going to be the rock bottom price? See post of Great Raft instagram earlier in this thread

I have never tried Grace and Grit. How does it compare to GITM?

This might be the first batch that I would rank G&G above Ghost.

When we release a beer, we consider standard margins taken by the distributor and retailer to estimate what it should end up costing at the store to the consumer. We aim to come in just above that price in the tasting room, in an attempt to not undercut the retailers who carry and support our brands throughout the state. Any tine you see a beer more expensive in the market than it is in our tasting room, the retailer is taking more than their standard healthy margin - for whatever reason. Unfortunately, we have no control over this.

Not sure how someone was buying 14 bombers of G&G when there was a 3/person limit. There were still multiple cases as of 5pm yesterday.

Oh i saw the sign. And so did he. He picked up the box that the sign was taped to, after he cleaned out that box. Now whether or not he made it to the register without being stopped is unknown. I was gone before he checked out.

Maybe he worked there, who knows. But he was not dressed in the dark green.

It would have been impossible for someone to buy 14, the computer wouldn't let more than 3 go through in one transaction. And I was there for every g&g sale yesterday... Sold all 5 cases while I was there.

Some of y'all try entirely too hard

That guy you're talking about had 9 beers in his basket, he was with 2 other guys... They bought 3 each. The box was empty so they could put them in there after they checked out

Ross, what's the deal with commotion? CCD can't keep any in stock

It's a great beer and it sells out.

ETA: but seriously, adjustments have already been made on the production side to increase volume for Distro. It will just take a little more time.

ETA#2: When did they tell you they were out?

I'm not "trying" anything. I spotted a dude with a bunch of G&G. That's all i was saying.

You see. It was a reasonable explanation for it. All i said was for the other guy to hurry, because i didn't foresee G&G lasting long after that guy came through.

Liked the old recipe commotion better which I thought was awesome for LA to put being putting out, new tastes like onions honestly. With Parish Envie killing it and comparable to ZD and PS, not sure demand will keep up on commotion in BR (none of my regular traders like it or ask for it like GiTM and Envie), but Envie is just as hard to get as ghost. I'm going Ghost, Envie, Ghost with how Andrew is pumping them out and I may ride that until I kill over.

Is G&G malty again? Will try it today. Thought last Jan's G&G was as good as GiTM, then last summer or last release it was a bit malty.

You need to package that belgian pale and double hopped commotion, those beers are fire. And your tap room is the best in the south.

Cheers.
